Hello, and thank you for visiting my pages. If you would like to see my portfolio in the order in which the images were posted, please click on the 'Images' tab above the first gallery pictures. You can also see how many visitors from around the world have come to see my pages by scrolling downward in this biography. I'm a self-taught photographer who's been taking pictures at one level or another for a long, long time. I've traveled extensively in Europe and made forays to Canada, Japan, China, Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica, Africa and South America. These travels have provided me with a wealth of subject matter for my photos, some of which appear on these pages. Many of my images are manipulated for what I consider...

It's cool!

Glad this resonated with you, Lenore. These were located out on what looked like a sand bar off the coast of Sweden, but I think there is a great commonality in the sight of these turbines everywhere. Thanks for the compliment. -- Joe.

Wow...this is outstanding and a FAV. This has such a strong emotional pull for me. When I travel to my "home" in Wyoming, I come across a certain hill and suddenly see a line of wind turbines for as far as the eye can see (located near Medicine Bow, WY). That is always a spiritual experience for me. In Wyoming, the white line would be snow...but the idea of them being on water is fascinating and just reminds me of melted snow. Superb.

Joe, I love this!!!! Windmills are going up on the mountains near our cabin ... they're fairly far away, but it seems like every year they march farther and farther across the horizon ... your image has given them SO much beauty!!!!!!!

Simply stunning, Joe. Love the random geometry of the turbines and the bold, but limited, color.
