Art is unquestionably one of the purest and highest elements in human happiness. It trains the mind through the eye, and the eye through the mind. As the sun colours flowers, so does art colour life. -- Congratulations on your recent sale of an amazing work
Joe Bonita replied:
Thank you Gull, both for your observations about art and for your congratulations and praise of my image. -- Joe.

Beautiful! Great angle. That's part of Russia I always wanted to visit when I live there, but unfortunately never did :-(

Just one more proof, and one of my favorites on first sight, of why I so much love and admire and take pleasure in your ability to see and, what's more, of course, to capture. Hmm. Is that "more" for either photographer or painter? Writer and musician, etc, any artist? Sounds like an age - old question. Right now, I think, maybe the seeing, discovery, is the most important of the two. Forgive me this stupidity. Shouldn't give away my true self (especially publically). But everybody else seems to have been here already! So many comments! All well-deserved, as is the print sale. Almost forgot congrats. So, thank you again, my friend, for giving so much to the universe! Peace, etc., Bruce

Jim Furrer
I love this one -- organic, sinewy, one almost sees the architectural details "slithering"
Marilynne Bull
How do you do it??? So many straight and curved lines and patterns. It's as fascinating to look at the details as it is the photo as a whole. What a super shot.
Victor Rugg
very dramatic and the color is perfect, great exposure and the best angle, nice job Joe
Lynne Furrer
THis is great in B/W. The textures really come through. Nicely done!

Joe, your composition of the church and the cloudy sky make for a fantastic monochromatic image!!!
