This picture was taken on Kelso Mountain in Colorado in the spring. The mountains in the background are Gray's Peak (on the left) and Torrey's Peak (on the right). Both peaks are over 14 thousand feet above sea level.

I voted for this image in the Colorado contest. This is so pretty and brought back a funny moment to me. We were in Silverton, Colorado, a few years ago, and I was really into the wildflowers. We were up on some pass where I was trying to get really close to the small flowers, so I laid down on the ground to get that macro shot. All of a sudden I realized I was laying right on top of an ant bed! Yikes! I jumped up and brushed them off, and was glad they were not the biting kind. Roena
