This is a gorgeous photograph! Wouldn't it make a beautiful painting?! It actually looks like a place we went on vacation while living in Norway!

I'd say a perfect composition. I love photos that have many different different things to look at and this has just this. Looks like a painting, I had to double check, just great. Thanks for your congrats on my sale. We moved to a retirement home and I was off line awhile till we got all set up here, so didn't even realize one of mine had sold till I received my check today. What a nice surprise. Keep up your exciting work, appreciate seeing it all. Jeanette

Joe ... this is sooo beautiful ... has the lovely sense of a watercolor to it ... love the pops of red ... and of course, birdie is the perfect finishing touch!!!!

I like the subdued colors in this, like a shellacked painting. The seagull seems to compete with the main red house in my eye, I think because they are borth about the same size. What if you transformed scale of the right 2/3 of the picture, which includes the red barn and smaller and larger mountain, challenging its summit to almost kiss the top border? Then a diagonal line appears, creating more interest. Possibly this creates a more balanced perspective with the seagull and the background? If not, as it stands, the clouds, which take up 1/3-1/2 of the picture, seem a little lackluster. Maybe ramp up the spectrum of color in that larger darker area of cloud in the middle, creating a chaos of color that goes with the forboding weather, but keep the whiter clouds around the seagull.

A wonderful, image full of atmosphere and the looming promise of the northern winter. I can also see Joe that there is a painter trapped inside you just bursting to break free.
